About the role

RTB House’s Bidding Platform organization processes over 20 million requests per second for real-time advertising auctions. We are hiring an Engineering Team Leader to lead and grow the Platform Engineering team as it expands to serve multiple teams across the company.

Responsibilities

Lead and mentor 8-10 systems and backend engineers while establishing technical excellence standards. Develop the platform roadmap prioritizing efficiency, reliability, scalability and security. Define team scope as the platform expands to multiple teams. Delegate platform ownership areas (monitoring, deployment, security) to senior engineers. Deliver self-service platform capabilities with defined usage contracts. Make data-driven decisions using experiments and evidence. Participate in IT-wide capacity planning. Oversee on-call alarm frameworks and reduce noisy alerts.
